Tógfar an vótaíocht sa toghchán ar De hAoine 24 Deireadh Fómhair 2025, idir 7.00 a chlog a.m. agus 10.00 a chlog p.m.

The Poll at the election will be taken on Friday 24 October 2025, between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m.

The names, addresses and other particulars of the candidates as described in their respective nomination papers are as follows:

Presidential Election Order 2025

The minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne, has signed the Presidential Election 2025 Order setting 24th October 2025 as the date for the Presidential Election. The full text of the order is available by clicking the following link.

Work Applications

We are currently accepting applications for work at the forthcoming Presidential Election from people aged 18 years and over. The date for this election has not yet been announced and offers of employment will not be sent out until after the date has been announced. To be eligible to work at this election you must not be actively canvassing for any candidate or party in any election which may be held on that day.

Applications must be made through this website by clicking the "Work Application" option on the menu at the left hand side of this page. The election office is not staffed between elections so we have no facility to accept applications by phone or post. For the same reason we cannot respond to queries concerning any application.
